Phyllis Morrissey
City of Carmel
One Civic Square
Carmel, IN 46032
Dear Phyllis:
Enclosed are five copies of proposed revised site plans. BJS, LLC, as per our Project
Agreement, needs one of these copies to be delivered to Les OIds, Ed Burke, and Luci
Snyder. Mike Hollibaugh will need a copy and another copy will need to be given to the
Board of Public Works.
In particular, Item 1, a bench from the Gramercy family is from the same family as the
Gramercy bike rack, Item #5. The bike rack is identical to the one to the immediate west
of the Carmel City building. This rack obviously has already been approved and attained
by the City of Carmel and Chris McComas believes that this should be the same rack in
the City Center. He selected the bench because it is from the same family as the rack and
the metal slats running vertically mirrors more of a Georgian wood style and less
Victorian. I will not order the benches until I receive Public Works approval. He also
positioned these on the sidewalk with the back nearest the building to minimize skate
boarders. It should be noted that as soon as the sidewalk and streetscape are finished this
bench would become city property. If the city so chooses to put anti skate boarding
material on it, it will be of their own volition. Items #2,3,4 and 5 do not need Public
Works approval, however, they need to be included into our site plan.
Sincerely,
. j

FINISHES
Powder Coated' The site furnishing shall
be powder coated after complete fabrication
with triglycidyl isocyanurate (TGIC) powder,
a polyester coating that is electrostatically
applied and baked at 400 degrees. Steel
