Explanation of why variance/waiver is being requested: The existing pergola is 18'x20'. The site plan submitted showed
14'1"x16'. Since the pergola is larger than 14’x16’, it means the distance from the pergola to the sideyard property line is
smaller. We are showing 8’. There’s an existing 8.5-ft easement along the western property line. The Accessory
Building/Pergola must be 11.5-ft (8.5 + 3) from the easement. The existing Pergola is only 8-ft from the easement.
