The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of latest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-1 22(a), and sections P3008.1 and.2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be (j" diameter.
All installations shall be "ooen trench" insoected and aooroved bv the Carmel Sewer Deoartment before anv backfil1ine is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial offuture sewer permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer insoeetions should be requested at (3 I 7) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.

District (see reverse) and any conditions noted below, All installations shall be inspected bY District personnel during
"open trench" phase,and before backfilling with stone to tweive inches above the pipe. NO footing or foundation drains,
or other sources of groUnd or stormwater, shall be permitted to enter the District's;sanitary'sewer system. The District
wili assume no liability for drains which are below the grade level of the nearest downstream manhoie nor for laterals
which are extended beneath driveways or sidewalks, The permit holder (property owner, qeveloper or builder) will be
responsible for damages to the District's sewer"system. This includes'damages to manhoies, castings, manhole lids
and the like; caused by construction activity on the building site which is the subject of this permit.
