On the September 17, 2002 Plan Commission agenda, you will find three public hearing items related
to rezoning golf course properties to the P-l/Parks and Recreation zoning classification. These are:
4h. Docket No. 98-02 Z; Twin Lakes Rezone
Petitioner seeks a favorable recommendation of a rezone from S-I/Residential to P-
I/Parks and Recreation on 120.5 ~ acres. The site is located east of Shelbome
Road between 96th Street and 106th Street. The site is zoned R-l/Residential.
Filed by the Department of Community Services.
5h. Docket No. 115-02 Z; Prairie View Rezone
Petitioner seeks a favorable recommendation of a rezone from S-1 /Residential to P-
I/Parks and Recreation on 205.6 ~ acres. The site is located east of River Road
generally between 126th Street and 131't Street. The site is zoned S-I/Residential.
Filed by the Department of Community Services.
6h. Docket No. 116-02 Z; Woodland Country Club
Petitioner seeks a favorable recommendation of a rezone from S-I/Residential to P-
1/Parks and Recreation on 168.7 ~ acres. The site is located south of 116th Street
between Westfield Boulevard and Keystone Avenue. The site is zoned R-
I/Residential and R-2/Residential.
Filed by the Department of Community Services.
These rezones are a continuation of the process, begun by the rezoning of Brookshire Golf Course
Plum Creek Country Club, to rezone golf courses, parklands and other important open spaces to the
P-l/Parks and Recreation designation. The Department will include the draft rezone ordinances
and area maps with the Department Report mailing.
Crooked Stick Golf Course rezone to P-l will be a public hearing item on the October Plan
Commission agenda.

Notice is hereby given that the Carmel/Clay Plan Commission will hold a public hearing upon a Petition To Rezone
property pursuant to the application and plans filed with the Department of Community Services as follows:
Rezone of property commonly known Twin Lakes Golf Club from R-1/Residential to P-1/Parks &
Recreation. Also described by the following boundary description:
Part of Section 8, Township 17 North, Range 3 East in Hamilton County, Indiana, being described as
follows:
Commencing at a P .K. nail, 3 inches down, over a stone at the southwest comer of southwest quarter of
said section; thence on an assumed bearing of North 88 degrees 48 minutes 00 seconds East along the
south line thereof a distance of 1299.89 feet to a railroad spike at the Point of Beginning, being the
southeast comer of Greentree Country Club Subdivision Section Four, the plat of which is recorded in
Plat Book 7, page 15 in the office of the Recorder of Hamilton County, Indiana; thence continuing South

Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, and may be viewed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Any written comments or objections to the proposal should be filed with the Secretary of the Plan Commission on or before
the date of the Public Hearing. All written comments and objections will be presented to the Commission. Any oral
comments concerning the proposal will be heard by the Commission at the hearing according to its Rules of Procedure. In
addition, the hearing may be continued from time to time by the Commission as it may fmd necessary.
