Sorry we missed you today when we went in to get our affidavits signed and notarized.
Your coworkers said to email you when we got home with a copy of our packet for you
to review and make sure all okay before we officially hit 'submit'.
I have just a few more questions also.
1) On ProjectDox, I noticed a copy of the Planning and Zoning Application. Staff told us
that you put that in there - just making sure.
2) I also noticed last year had 'BZA Special Exception Application instructions' which
looked like the packet with the templates,etc..wasn't sure if that was needed as an
upload or not.
3) Page 5 of 12, 7 of 12, and 12 of 12 have all been signed and notarized. Noticed 12 of
12 appears to be part of the PDF version of the online application, not sure if that was
necessary or not.
4) I have attached our BZA Info Packet for your review. We added a copy of last year's
'Letter of Grant' because it had the paragraph about approved with condition. I wasn't
sure if that would be helpful or if I should leave it out because it would cause confusion.
5) Please also review what we have uploaded so far to ProjectDox to see if we missed
something. We tried to be thorough and compare to last year.

Subject: Proposal for RENEWAL of Special Exception Application STRR - Elliott Docket # PZ-2024-00157 SE
Hello All TAC Members,
We are requesting renewal of our Special Exception Short Term Residential Rental,
Docket # PZ-2024-00157 SE.
* We were issued a Letter of Grant last year for BZA Docket No. PZ-2023-00218 SE -
Elliott STRR Renewal on October 26, 2023 and wish to renew again.
* We have not been approached with any complaints. In fact, our next-door neighbor
said that he would have assumed that our visitors were relatives/friends if we had not
informed him of our plans to be an STRR.
*There are many family reunions/gatherings for Carmel residents celebrating weddings,
birthdays, graduations, etc., and our STRR provides a comfortable opportunity for

families to stay close to each other. Another guest used our home as a base while they
searched for and purchased a home in Carmel!
* We have a great neighborhood with wonderful supportive neighbors. We will remain
vigilant to preserve, improve, and protect our investment as well as those around us.
