It appears 91-02 ADLS has fallen through the cracks. I began in the department 6/24 and this file was approved 7/02.
After a thorough search, I cannot find a Letter of Grant. Gayle is aware that we do not have a letter. The minutes
indicate it was approved 6-0. I will type a letter with your approval. Please advise.................

12. Docket No. 87-02 ADLS Amend- Parkside Village, Subdivision Sign
Petitioner seeks approval to amend their Architectural Design, Lighting, Landscaping &
Signa~e for a subdivision sign. The site is located at the intersection of Autumn Drive
and 3r Avenue SW. The site is zoned R-4IResidential.
Filed by Alex Robins for the Parkside Village Property Owners Association.
Alex Robins, secretary of Parks ide Village Homeowners Association, appeared before the
Committee representing the petitioner. The petitioner is requesting permission to re-Iocate a
Subdivision Sign in order for the Parkside Village community to have more presence in the area.
The sign would be moved to a pre-existing fence on the northwest comer of3rd Avenue and
Autumn Drive.
Jon Dobosiewicz of DOCS explained that previously, Autumn Drive was to be the extension of
126th Street; the City made the decision to re-Iocate 126th farther to the east. Additional approval
is needed from the Board of Public Works for encroachment.
Pat Rice moved for approval of Docket No. 87-02 ADLS Amend, Parks ide Village,
Subdivision Sign, subject to Board of Public Works' approval. The motion was seconded by
Dianna Knoll and APPROVED by Committee 6-0.

31 Third Street SW
Amendment ofthe Architectural Design, Lighting, Landscaping & Signage for a
commercial building located at 31 3rd Street SW. The site is zoned B-2/Business.

John Anagnostou, 10048 Lake Shore Drive East, Carmel, appeared before the Committee
representing the applicant.
Jon Dobosiewicz, Department of Community Services explained the structure was damaged by
fire earlier this year. The City Council has adopted new standards. The petitioner is requesting a
change in the roof from flat to gable, and an increase in height to 19 feet, 6 inches. The exterior
material is block, painted white to match existing.
Pat Rice moved to approve Docket No. 91-02 ADLS/ Amend, change in roof and increase in
height to 19 feet, 6 inches, Jobny Warehouse. The motion was seconded by Dianna Knoll and
APPROVED 6-0.
tio al Item: Jon Dobosiewicz presented approved drawings for the Meijer convenience
store. Brick color samples were displayed for Committee recommendation. Jon will request a
revised, color rendering from Meijer's. The Committee favored brick samples from Washington
State.
The Committee adjourned at 10:00 PM.
