The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 oflatest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting I
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City ofCarmcl ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9- I 22(a), and sections P300S, I and .2 of the lntemational Rcsidential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "ooen trench" inspected and anoroved bv the Carmel Sewer Deoartment before anv backfillinQ is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer insoections should be reauested at (17) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. ~]]

District (see reverse) and any conditions noted below.' .AII installations shall be inspected by District personnel during.

responsible for damages to the District's sewer system. This includes. damages to manholes, castings, manhole lids
and the like; caused by construction activity on the building site which is the subject of this permit. . I
Inl?pections by the District'are MANDATORY and shall be,arranged by contacling the District's office at 844-9200,
24 hours in advance. All new co.nstruction will be placed on billing six months after connection has been made or;when
water is connected, whichever comes first.
