The applicant seeks approval to plat t residential subdivision on 6.19 acres. The
site is located on the south side of 1 Street, 1/8 mile east of Carey Road. The site is
zoned R-l/Residence.
Filed by David Barns of Weihe Engineers, Inc. for Springmill Builders, Inc.
The applicant is proposing a 12-lot subdivision. It should be noted that the original submittal
identified a 10-lot subdivision. The plans were revised after the applicant went to TAC. The site
is located on the south side of 146th Street, just east of Carey road. Please see the informational
packet provided by the applicant to view the layout of the site.
Questions/concerns/comments raised at the Public Hearing included the following:
1. Concern regarding location of proposed pond.
2. Request to have sewer extend to property to west.
3. Questions were asked regarding the impact on property values.
Remaining Department concerns/issues:
1. Applicant needs to provide the Plan Commission members with a copy of the Landscape
Plan and have recommendation from Scott Brewer.
The Department recommends that this item be forwarded to the full Plan Commission with
a favorable recommendation after all comments and concerns have been addressed.
