I think you will agree, it was very evident there is wide disapproval of this proposal. There was quite a bit of discussion concerning how the 142 new residences would create a significant density issue and create very little green space for pets, wildlife and foliage. The plan allowed for a mere 6 acres of green space with no plans for a structure of any kind. In addition, 142 new residences and their cars would significantly stress the traffic patterns already stressed in West Carmel. Some major points made: 1. Inconsistent architecture and price points of the proposed houses with the surrounding properties. 2. Lots and houses significantly smaller than existing homes surrounding the Stout Property. 3. No amenities matching those of the Village of West Clay, such as parks, playgrounds, fire pits and tennis/pickleball courts are included in this proposal. Thank you for your service to our wonderful city and I hope you will agree this development is not appropriate for West Carmel. There are other options available. 1 Kathleen and Eric Hursh 2195 Shaftesbury Road Kathleen Hursh kathleen.hursh@gmail.com 317-679-8696 2
