Please deny the proposed development on the Stout Property at 126th Street and Towne Road. The proposed
development exceeds the recommended density for the current zoning S1 and the Comprehensive Plan
recommendations. It is going to undermine the value of the Comprehensive Plan. It is out of character for the area.
The increased density creates a safety hazard for the corridor that serves the elementary and middle school. Crossing
Towne Road is of concern anyway without additional traffic added at this junction.
Any development in this area should be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and surrounding neighborhood of single
family homes on quarter of an acre or more. The lack of amenities similar to surrounding neighborhoods puts an undue
burden on neighbors. There is little to none green space, walking paths, recreational facilities, or playgrounds planned for
residents.
I respectfully request that this proposed development PUD, as currently planned, be denied.
