We purchased our ini?al home here in 2011 and then we built a new home within the Village in 2020. I have followed the Stout Farm development proposal with interest and have reviewed the proposed building plan. We are in agreement with the assessment of our Village Board of Directors that this development, as currently proposed, is inconsistent with the surrounding neighborhoods, especially with the VOWC. We are concerned about the impact this neighborhood design could have on property values, possibly driving them down, and also that the density proposed could have a nega?ve impact on traffic and other aspects of neighborhood quality of life. We are certainly suppor?ve of development on that property that would be complementary & addi?ve to the area, but we do not believe the current proposal meets those objec?ves. We encourage you to oppose this proposal as currently cons?tuted. Thank you for considering our comments.
