Subject:Stout Farm Proposed Development
Bric...
We are writing to you today to voice our objections to the
development of the Stout Farm property on Towne Road as currently
set.
We are very concerned about the density of the project, the type and
price range of homes that are proposed to be built along with a very
limited amount of green space planned.
The development will deter from what is now a great area to live. Too
many homes are being planned in this proposal. The additional traffic
that will generate will be a mess. With the price range that is being
suggested, we believe that it sets up for investors to buy and rent...
this area is not ideal for rental properties. We believe that will hurt
our investment in our home. By reducing the density, that will open an
opportunity for the developer to increase the planned green space
along with raising the proposed asking prices for the homes.
Understand please, we are not opposed to the development of this
area into single family homes provided that they are planned to be
similar in style to what the area has developed to date, and with
pricing to mirror what is currently being offered in the resale arena. In
addition, the density needs to be addressed to be more reasonable.
Thank you for your consideration.
