Good afternoon,
I am writing in concern to the short term rental request, PZ-2024-00180, in Lexington Farms.
Due to the age of my children and our work schedules I will not be able to attend.
I wanted to say that the neighbor two houses down from us had their house as an Airbnb for 4 months
until Carmel found out and requested they take it down. During this time they had parties there every
weekend, people playing loud music until past midnight, smoking weed outside and using inappropriate
language and inappropriate stories. We felt uncomfortable going outside with our kids (at the time ages 1
and 3). Lexington Farms is a quiet, family friendly neighborhood and I feel that it changes the whole
dynamic when short-term rentals are allowed. I hope it stays this way, as I do enjoy feeling save playing
outside with my kids, going on walks, and knowing our neighbors. Also, this neighborhood is not
structurally made to have so many car parked for a short term rental. It is dangerous and hard to navigate
around so many cars parked.
