Hello,
I hope you are doing well and are having a good week.
I am writing to express concern about the Stout Farm Development.near our
neighborhood of the Village of West Clay.
In reviewing plans and statements, I cannot help but notice the proposed project is not
consistent with homes in west Carmel or the vision of the Village of West Clay. The
proposed greenspace and common area is inconsistent with the Village and
neighborhoods in west Carmel. In addition,the proposed density is too great and
inconsistent with the Village. Furthermore, the proposed development has limited set
back and screening or buffer, along with 90% lot coverage.
Another very concerning part of the plans is the architecture. It is inconsistent with our
neighborhood and the neighborhoods that are around ours.
Finally, we are concerned with the lack of safeguards against long and short term rentals.
I would encourage you to deny the request by the developers.
