Subject:Opposition to proposed highly dense housing development at Stout Farm adjacent to
the Village of WestClay
Dear Bric Butler,
We would appreciate it if you could let the Carmel Planning Commission know of our opposition.
We are opposed to the proposed development by the Stout Farm project for a highly dense
housing development adjacent to the Village of WestClay.
We have the same concerns that other residents of Village of WestClay have shared with you:
• The proposed project is not consistent with homes in west Carmel
• The proposed project is not consistent with Village of WestClay property values
• The proposed greenspace and common area is inconsistent with the Village and
neighborhoods in west Carmel
• The proposed density is too great and inconsistent with the Village
• The proposed development may lower property values
• The proposed development has limited set back and screening or buffer
• The proposed development has 90% or greater lot coverage
• The proposed development has architecture inconsistent with the Village
• The residents are concerned this will become a rental community
Sincerely yours,
Hiroshi and Machiko Nishiyama
