Subject:Stout farm
Hello bric,
My husband and I moved into the village of west clay in April. We moved 5 minutes down the road
because we loved the neighborhood. We love the charm and everything it has to offer. The people here
are kind and friendly and they care about their property as much as the neighborhood as a whole. I
believe the stout farm project would take away everything the village has to offer. The project is not
consistent with homes in the rest of the neighborhood therefore taking away its charm. I believe packing
in as many homes/ apartments/ town homes as possible is tacky and it would lower the property value of
the rest of the homes in the village. Here are a few more points to consider:
The proposed project is not consistent with homes in west Carmel
The proposed project is not consistent with Village of WestClay property values
The proposed greenspace and common area is inconsistent with the Village and
neighborhoods in west Carmel
The proposed density is too great and inconsistent with the Village
The proposed development may lower property values
The proposed development has limited set back and screening or buffer
The proposed development has 90% or greater lot coverage
The proposed development has architecture inconsistent with the Village
The residents are concerned this will become a rental community
Thank you,
Jennifer Jang
