ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latcst revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "aDen trench" insoccted and aooroved bv the Cannel Sewcr Dcoartment before any backfilling is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the scwcr installation and/or denial of future sewer penn its and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground watcr or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer insoections should be requested at (317) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing sewer (or water) lines shall have a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE. If any street
