Subject:Stout high density development
Good morning,
I’m wri?ng to you on behalf of my husband, Dr. Robert Kemp and myself Sylvia Kemp.
We intensely oppose the building of Stout high density development.
We moved to the village because of its charm and beauty, we love the Village of West Clay.
The proposed project is not consistent with homes in west Carmel. It is not consistent with the property value of West
Clay. The density is too great and the proposed green space and common area is inconsistent with the Village. We’re also
concerned that this will lower our property value and very well may end up being a rental community which is
unacceptable. Everything about this project is not consistent with the Village, proposed development has 90% or greater
lot coverage let alone the inconsistent architecture.
We moved here 12 years ago from Chicago because of all the beauty, charm and the beau?ful homes. This is not why we
moved here and truly, I ques?on the powers that be even allowed this to get so far. We will be a?ending the mee?ng on
December 17th to join our fellow villagers in opposi?on of this project.
Why does this keep happening to our area, the gas sta?on proposal now this? Who is looking out for us??
To say we’re disappointed that this has been another ba?le is underscoring our feelings.
Wondering if we should move out of the Village due to the proposals of unacceptable projects.
Sincerely,
Sylvia Kemp
