Subject:Stout Farm
Dear Carmel Planning Commission members,
I write to express my sincere concern regarding the proposed high density development of Stout Farm. While I
understand and accept that at some point this property will be developed, it must be consistent with homes in west
Carmel. This means it should have common areas and green spaces for residents to gather and children to play. The
current proposal lacks space especially near the highest density of homes that will likely include many children. This will
make it much more convenient to use those in the Village of WestClay.
My home backs up to the Stout Farm. The limited set back and screening is unacceptable. There is no buffer between the
proper?es and will nega?vely impact property value not to men?on the intrusion.
The architecture of the proposed development is not only incompa?ble with the surrounding neighborhood, it looks low
quality and inconsistent with Carmel standards.
I have been a resident of the Village of WestClay for 8 years. I have invested heavily in the upkeep and upgrade of my
property. I would like to keep raising my family in this wonderful neighborhood and community for years to come. Please
respect the residents who have invested and lived in our homes and Carmel for years. Do NOT approve the proposed
development of Stout Farm as it stands today.
Kind regards,
Brooke Hun?ngton
