Specifically, thc code states that the installation of one or more non load-bearing partitions not exceeding a total of one hundred lineal feet, provided they are not part of a corridor or required fire-resistive construction, are exempt from the design release requirement. These specific improvements call for walls totaling ninety-eight lineal feet. For your files, I have attached the pertinent section of the Indiana code as well as a logic chart provided by the State onlheir website to aid in determining whether a project needs to be fi led or not. I hope this adequately answers your questions and helps to expedite the permitting process. Please don't hesitate to contact our office at 3 ] 7/663-30] 3 if you should require any further information or assistance, All the best, ~ David J. Rausch, AlA Principle RA TIO Architects, Inc.
