HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetter #166 Sarah Clark Butler, Bric From:Sarah Clark <sjdclark@me.com> Sent:Wednesday, December 4, 2024 9:15 PM To:Butler, Bric Subject:Stout Farm development Follow Up Flag:Follow up Flag Status:Flagged Dear Bric, I am wri?ng as a long ?me resident of the Village of West Clay. My husband and I have lived along the north side of the Stout farm for over twenty years. Having raised three children and now grateful to be enjoying the neighborhood with our granddaughter, we would like to see the neighborhood con?nue to thrive. The property value, the well appointed ameni?es, and safety- are all important to our family. I appreciate all the factors- the architectural dream of George Sweet’s in the VOWC, the outstanding and though?ul planning for the economic growth of Carmel, and the increasing value of the property behind our home. I hope you will be a strong advocate for the many tax payers who live along the Stout property and are ac?vely invested in the Carmel community. Please protect our investment and keep the Stout property from overdevelopment and advocate for a plan that would lean toward increasing our property value rather than decreasing it. Collec?vely, we have maintained our homes, raised our families, and contributed to a stable and beau?fully planned community that is a centerpiece for the city. Many thanks, Sarah Clark 1965 Stanhope Street Carmel, IN 46032 1
