HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetter #168 Lisa Palmer Butler, Bric From:Lisa Palmer <landspalmer@gmail.com> Sent:Friday, December 6, 2024 11:33 AM To:Butler, Bric Subject:Stout Farm Proposed Development Dear Mr. Butler, I own a home and live in Clay Corner and I am writing to you, and the Carmel Planning Commission to express my concern and strong opposition to the proposed development of Stout Farm. Even though it's nestled right up against the Village of West Clay, it's still very concerning due to the following reasons:  The proposed project is not consistent with homes in west Carmel  The proposed greenspace and common areas are inconsistent with the neighborhoods in west Carmel  The proposed project is not consistent with property values in the area  The proposed density is too great and inconsistent with the neighborhoods in west Carmel  The proposed development may lower property values for the surrounding neighborhoods  The proposed development has 90% or greater lot coverage  The proposed development has limited set back and screening or buffer  The proposed development has architecture inconsistent surrounding neighborhoods This proposed development threatens the incredible investment we have made in our beloved community. We are asking for your help in preserving our home in Carmel by blocking this proposed high-density development. Sincerely, Lisa Palmer 1
