I understand an initial variance was granted to build as high as 45' ( June 2016) This request exceeds the height of the Anthony building and this will cast shadows over the current Monon & Main development. This will prevent snow and salt from melting without possible sunshine. This can be a life safety issue if we have long periods of snow and ice. As we all know street parking is a premium in this area. The plans suggest 2 car garages for the condo owners however no parking for retail and restaurant staff or their customers. The request to use the entire lot for the structure and offer no parking seems a bit extreme. Access to the site will only be from 3rd Avenue which will stress the current congested intersection of Main and 3rd SW which is a one-way street. What will happen to the public parking spaces on 4th Ave SW - will they remain? The request for a height of 65' is excessive. I would not object to a height of 60' (maximum) which would mirror the existing building on Main St. that contains Anthonys and Office Space. Sincerely, Patricia Tesluk 320 West Main St..
