The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of]atest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting~
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe oflatest revision unless other materials arc hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Unifoml Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Se~tion
9-l22(a), and sections P3008.1 and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "aDen trench" insoccted and aooroved bv the Cannel Sewer Deoartment before any backfillin2: is done. NonM
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or den1al offuturc sewer penn1ts and/or denia\ of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or stann water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
