Subject:Stout Farm Proposed Development -- January 21, 2025 Plan Committee Meeting
To whom it may concern:
My wife and I join with concerned neighbors of the Village of WestClay (the Village) and the Resolution
submitted by the Village of West Clay Owners Association in objecting to the proposed Stout Farm
development adjacent to the Village for the following reasons:
The proposed project is not consistent with homes in west Carmel
The proposed project is not consistent with Village of WestClay property values
The proposed greenspace and common area is inconsistent with the Village and
neighborhoods in west Carmel
The proposed density is too great and inconsistent with the Village
The proposed development may lower property values
The proposed development has limited set back and screening or buffer
The proposed development has 90% or greater lot coverage
The proposed development has architecture inconsistent with the Village
We are concerned this will become a rental community
The proposed development will unduly overburden the current Village amenities and
infrastructure which are not meant to serve a high density community as proposed.
We are unable to attend the January 21, 2025 meeting, but wanted to express our concerns regarding the
proposed development.
Thank you for listening to our concerns.
