STATE RELEASE # 324849, dated 4/20/07,
for ARCH, ELEC, MECH, and STR. (Const.
type: EXST. Occup.class: A-2.) Standard
release, with 9 conditions re:
1. Plans/specs for revised fire
suppression need to be filed.
2. Additions/alterations/repairs shall
not cause existing exit capacities to
fall under what is required by code.
3. To be accessible to persons with
disabilities.
4. Thermal performance of various
components to code is required in bldgs
that are mechanically heated/cooled.
5. Exterior walls to have fire-
resistive ratings per code.
6. Exit doors in Group A occupancies
shall not be provided with a latch or
lock unless it is panic hardware.
7. Fire alarm system to be designed as
specified per all applicable codes.
8. Upon completion of fire alarm
system installation, a test of the
entire system is required and must be
satisfactory.
9. No addition/alteration shall cause
the existing building, structure, or
any of the existing systems to become
unsafe or overloaded.

Approved 4/18/07, and Letter of Grant
submitted. This project is considered
an addition, and not just a remodel,
due to the additional roofing type
structure that is being added, in
addition to the open air area that was
already under roof. Also, the fireplace
that is being shown is new.
This permit is valid only if construction commences within one (1) year of the date of issuance of the State Commercial Design Release. All construction
must be completed (C/O issued) within two (2) years of the issuance date.

Certificate of Occupancy has been issued by the Department of Community Services, Carmel, Indiana.
