We are sending you this required legal notice because you have been identified as an adjoining or adjacent property owner by the City of Carmel. We have a current deck that is in disrepair and are seeking to replace it with a composite deck with aluminum railing and a 3-Season room that will match our existing architecture of the home. To do so, we are seeking a variance to 16.5-ft instead of the minimum 20-foot setback. The current deck is built to the same dimension, but a variance was never applied for when the original deck was built by previous owners. If you have a question or concern after visiting the portal, feel free to contact our builder, Kevin Schluchter, owner, Cutting Edge Hardscapes at 317-409-9644 for any other questions you might have regarding this variance request.
