Docket No. 06030008 Z: 1003 E. 106th Street Rezone The applicant seeks a rezone from R3 to B5 to allow neighborhood scale office/commercial use. The site is located 1003 E. 106th Street and is zoned R3 Residential/within the Home Place Business District Overlay. Filed by Michael Godfrey of Brunson and Company. The applicant seeks to rezone a residential property from R3 to B5 for the use of neighborhood scale office/commercial use. Given this site is located in the Home Place Business District Overly, a rezone to the B5 zoning designation is generally supported. The public hearing for this item was held at the April 18th Plan Commission Meeting. No one spoke in opposition. This item was continued from the last committee meeting due to no representation. If this property is rezoned, it will require DP/ADLS approval prior to using it for a non residential use. As a note, single family residences are permitted in the B5 zone. The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee forward this item back to the full Plan Commission with a positive recommendation after all comments and concerns are fully addressed. . . u Q Page 1 of 1 DeVore, Laura B From: Griffin, Matt L Sent: Friday, June 02, 2006 5:55 PM To: Adam DeHart (E-mail); Ann Walker (E-mail); Brad Schneider; Charlie Frankenberger (E-mail); Chuck Phipps; D.
