To whom it may concern: My name is Michelle Griffin. My husband (Keith Mitchell) and I own the property at 1005. E. 10eth St., Indianapolis, IN 46280. Our property is located directly east of the property requesting the approval of the rezone from R3 to 85. We want to express our conc~rn and request that the rezone be denied. We have several issues that we would like to share with the commission. . Garbageissues At the present time this:property has been a rental unit. The owner tends to bring garbage from several rental properties to this one location. The pile can be quite large and has at times been in front of this property for long time periods (3-5 days). Often after storms with high winds, we find parts of this garbage pile in our yard. . Driveway Issues Our property sits quite ~ome distance from the street while the property in question sits quite near the street. Every time that the unit is back up for rent, interested parties tend to confuse our driveway as the driveway for 1003 E. 10eth St.. On multiple occasions, we have had people interested in thi~ rental property stopping, pulling in and blocking our driveway. I am very concerned that by' rezoning this property as a business will only add to this confusion with more and more people! using our driveway to access that property. . Property Value . Finally, our greatest ccmcem is to how the value of our property would be adversely affected if the property in question is rezoned from residential to business. Rocky Mountain Landscape and 1003 E. 106th Street ARE in our jurisdiction. I suspect that Rocky Mountain's project will not take place in our rlw. We have not received plans for this project. We have no objection to rezone of the 106th Street project.
