Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2024-00246 V: White Residence Addition Rear Setback Variance
Dear Mr. Schluchter:
At the meeting held on Monday, January 27th, 2025, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property located at
13695 Autumn Lake Overlook:
APPROVED: White Residence Addition Rear Setback Variance - Development Standards Variance approval
for:
• PZ-2024-00246 V: Maximum 20-ft rear yard building setback required, 16.5-ft granted.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is Jan. 27, 2028.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
