SITE & UTILITY PLAN GENERAL
NOTES
1.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ALL
PERMITS, OR VERIFYING THAT ALL PERMITS HAVE BEEN OBTAINED,
FROM CITY, COUNTY, AGENCY, AND UTILITY AUTHORITIES PRIOR TO
STARTING CONSTRUCTION.
2.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING ALL O.S.H.A.
WORKER SAFETY STANDARDS.
3.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING ALL OFFSITE
WORK WITH ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNER AND CITY OF CARMEL
AUTHORITY AND MAINTAINING TRAFFIC CONTROL IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CITY REQUIREMENTS.
4.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING QUALITY
CONTROL, OR ENSURING THAT QUALITY CONTROL IS MAINTAINED,
THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT SCHEDULE.
5.THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL QUANTITY TAKEOFFS
PRIOR TO BID AND PROVIDING BALANCED UNIT PRICES FOR ALL WORK
ITEMS. UNBALANCED BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED DISQUALIFIED.
6.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR
CONSTRUCTION MEANS AND METHODS.
7.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO
COMMENCING WORK. CAD FILES WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE
CONTRACTOR ONLY AS INSTRUMENTS OF SERVICE.
8.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REQUEST ALL CLARIFICATIONS AT LEAST
TWO (2) BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO EACH STAKEOUT ACTIVITY, AND
EACH STAKEOUT ACTIVITY SHALL TAKE PLACE AT LEAST TWO (2)
BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO COMMENCING THAT PART OF THE WORK.
9.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PRESERVE ALL PROPERTY CORNERS,
CONTROL POINTS, BENCHMARKS, AND STAKEOUT HUBS. SHOULD ANY
DAMAGE TO THESE OCCUR, IT SHALL BE REPORTED TO THE PROJECT
MANAGER IMMEDIATELY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BEAR THE COST
OF REPLACEMENT OF THE ABOVE.
10.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RESTORE ALL PERIMETRAL CONDITIONS TO
THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITIONS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
