Freestyle Ice Carving Demonstrations
Stations will beavailable forCarver toset uptools beginning at2p.m.
Carvers may work ontheir ice asearly as2:30p.m., butmust begin nolater than 4 p.m.
Sculptures must becomplete by8p.m.
Carver MUST letFestival ofIce event organizer know inadvance ifthere is apreference tobein
proximity toanother carver. Last minute changes cannot beaccommodated.
Saturday, January 18: LocatedatThe Ice atCarter Green from 10a.m. - 9p.m.
People’sChoice Ice Carving Demonstrations: 10a.m. - 5p.m.
o Ice Carvers physically on-sitesculpting the ice.
Carmel Fire Department Chili Cook-off: 11 a.m. - 1p.m.
People'sChoice Sculpture Voting: noon - 9p.m.
o All votes will becounted once the Saturday event concludes, andthe People’sChoice
winners will beannounced during the Sunday event.
Food, Beverage andalive DJ: 10a.m. - 9p.m.
Ice Skating: 11:30a.m. - 9p.m.
Carvers may work with ice asearly as9a.m., but must begin work nolater than 10a.m.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND PAYMENT
Hotel accommodations for Carvers will beprovided atRenaissance Hotelwithonefoodvoucherper
carver per day. Carver willbeallotted oneguest room for 2nights (Friday, January 19and Saturday,
January 20). Additional restaurant vouchers may bepurchased by Carver upon check-in.
Carver will receive acheck inthe amount of $1,850atthe completion ofallexhibitions.
Assistant carver will receive acheck inthe amount of $500 atthe completion ofallexhibitions.
