ORDINANCE D-2758-25
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL,
INDIANA AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF
FUNDS FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BUDGET (#1120) TO LINE ITEM 4112002-
UNSCHEDULED OVERTIME.
Synopsis: This ordinance appropriates funds to support the operation of an additional fifth
ambulance for the Carmel Fire Department, utilizing existing personnel at Fire Station 342,
located at 3610 West 106th Street. This station serves the southwest side of Carmel.
WHEREAS, funds in the amount Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000) are needed
to pay overtime to existing personnel to operate an additional ambulance at Fire Station 342; and
WHEREAS, the General Fund #101 has excess funds in the amount of Eight-Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($800,000) to appropriate to Fire Department Budget #1120 Line Item 4112002-
Unscheduled Overtime.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Carmel, Indiana, that the following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the Fire Department
Budget #1120 for the purposes specified herein, subject to applicable laws, as follows:
$800,000 from the General Fund (#101)

Fire Department Budget #1120: Line Item 4112002-Unscheduled Overtime

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and signing
by the Mayor.
