GENERAL LANDSCAPE & PLANTING NOTES
1.Refer to Sheet L600 for Site Plant Schedule and Site Planting Details.
2.For Site Materials information, Refer to Sheet L100.
3.Refer to Irrigation Plans for Site Irrigation Information.
4.For Vehicular Pavements, Curbs, Curb Ramps, Grading, Drainage, MUTCD Signage, and Utilities Refer to
Civil Plans.
5.For Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Information Refer to MEP Series.
6.For building information Refer to Architectural and Structural Plans.
7.Contractor responsible for locating all utilities in field prior to beginning work. Contractor responsible
for repairing any damage to utilities to the satisfaction of the owner, utility owner, and operating
authority at no additional cost.
8.Contractor to stake all tree locations prior to planting. Final placement of plant materials shall be
approved by Landscape Architect. Contractor responsible for relocation of incorrectly placed plant
material at no additional cost.
9.All plants to meet or exceed size standards as set forth by the 'Standards for Nursery Stock'.
10.Contractor to install Irrigation System PRIOR to any plant material, hardscapes, or walls.
11.Contractor to seed all disturbed areas not indicated as planting bed or hardscape on the plans.
12.Plan documents indicate minimum plant material required. Contractor responsible for calculating plant
quantities based on plans, details, and field conditions.
13.Contractor to install plant material in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. See Landscape
Ordinance Chart below.
14.If plant quantities indicated on plan are not available, contractor shall notify Landscape Architect prior to
bidding. Otherwise, substitution of plant material will not be permitted.
15.All planting beds shall have a minimum of 24" uncompacted soil, free from weeds or deleterious materials
larger than 1".
16.All planting beds to receive a minimum of 2" shredded hardwood bark mulch, except as noted in the
planting details.
17.For additional planting information, Refer to Specification Section 32 93 00.
