This is docket #07020032 V. Also, I would like to withdraw the variance request that refers to the square footage of the monument signs, if possible. This would be docket #07020033 V. I am not completely sure how the square footage of the signs is calculated and whether this variance can be removed or not. If you could determine the disposition of this variance, I would appreciate it. Finally, how do we get the favorable recommendation we received from the planning commission presented to the board as part of our submission? Is there anything that needs to be done from my end? Thanks for all your help. My guess is that if we redesign the pylon on Keystone Ave, it would probably be larger than the 6' height (which I understand would need to have a variance request) but I doubt it would have the reader board unless we are contractually required to have it. That is an item I need to research. Other than that, I will be meeting with my property personnel to continue with this project. Thank you very m\-lch for your assistance. Was this based on the old documentation or the new documentation (which I know did not get turned in until Monday). Not sure. The department report was based on what had originally been submitted, since the revised drawings were submitted after the report was published. 2) If this negative consideration is based on the old information and the we were told that we would get a favorable consideration on the new sign proposal, how do we get that information into the commissions hands for the next hearing? Provide revised info packets by June 15. Also the staff's depart report will be released June 20. 3) Since the proposed signage is no longer taller than the ordinance allows and is no longer a variance request, 6/18/2007 Merchant's Square signage Page 4 of 4 f., , .. can that be dropped from the variance request or does it simply get amended to show that they are now in compliance? You should provide us with an email or fax, stating that you want to withdraw that variance request. 4) If Ramco-Gershenson decides to address the pylon sign on Keystone Drive, would that also be restricted to the 6' height, unless we apply for a variance on it? Yes, it must follow today's sign ordinance standards. You also would not be able to have the EVMS component without the grant of a variance, since the City's Ordinance prohibits all signs with moving elements. 5) What time frames are we under to have the info submitted to the city for the next meeting? Also, when is that next meeting? Provide revised info packets by June 15, so that they can be delivered in time for the June 25 BZA meeting. 6) Is it possible to get a copy of the minutes for last nights meeting for my file? Yes, only after they are approved/signed at the next meeting. I will let Connie know. I think that is it for now, but If I come up with anything else, I will drop you a line. We understand that if for any reason the sign must be relocated or removed in the future, it would be our financial obligation and responsibility. I appreciate your time and effort in this matter and am happy that we may have now come upon a size and design that may be acceptable to all parties. Have a good day.
