The building & Sewer Shall be pvc se\'~!er pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SOR 35 of latest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building scv,rers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "oDen trench" insnected and annroved bv the Carmel Sewer DeDartment before an\' backfilline is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enler the public sewer.
Se\,ver insoections should he requested at (317) 571.2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. All
