The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of latest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State ofIndiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Car me] ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building sev,!ers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "open trench" inspected and approved bv the Carmel Sewer Dcoartment before anv backfilling is done. Non.
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future seVier permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or 1oundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewcr.

No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangcments arc made at least 24 hours in advance. All
