Sewer insoections should be reauested at (317) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing se\....er (or water) lines shall have a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'S OFFtCE. If any street

PLEASE NOTE: Installation of building sewer shall be per the specifications of the Clay Township Regional Wast~.
District (see reverse) and any conditions noted below. All installations shall be inspected by District personnel during
"open trench;' phase and before backfilling with stone to twelve inches above the pipe. NO footing or foundation &ains,
or other sources of ground or stormwater, shall be permitted to enter the District's sanitary sewer system. The Di~trict
will assume no liability for drains which are below the grade level of the nearest downstream manhole nor for late~als
which are extended beneath driveways or sidewalks. The permit holder (property owner, developer or builder) will be
responsible for ciamages to the District's sewe'r system. This includes damages to manholes, castings, manhole Ii~s
and the like; caused by construction activity on the building site which is the subject of this permit.
Inspections by the District are MANDATORY and shall be arranged by contacting the District's office at 844-9200
24 hours in advance. All new construction will be placed on billing six months after connection has been made or when
water is connected, whichever comes first.
