We have looked at the proposed cut. Engineering will support the variance request. We can modify the current striping plan to extend the SB left turn lane to allow one or two cars to stack waiting to turn left into Lot "H". As you are aware, the City cannot guarantee long-term full access at this location. Gary Gary R Duncan Jr., P.E. Mike and Gary - can you follow up with your comments? Christine - I will be making a filing this Friday for the Variance. See you then. Mike H. - I really don't have anything for you. Do you guys remember a few years ago, when they said that Stevie Wonder was going to have some sort of robot surgery and be able to see? What ever happened with that? Far as I know he still can not. We are now moving forward with the site design for our building 3 - and will be reliant upon that access. I wanted to give you a heads up because we will be taking this through the BZA to get a variance to permit the additional cut. As per the Zoning Code - the only cuts permitted are those shown in the task force report from 2000. We would like to get confirmation that Carmel Engineering does not oppose this cut - as your input will be an important at the BZA hearing. If you need a site plan to refresh your memory let me know.
