HEARING OFFICER OF THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS FOR THE CITY OF
CARMEL, INDIANA
Docket Nos. 07060011 V and 07060023V
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Hearing Officer of the Carmel Board of Zoning
Appeals for the City of Carmel, Indiana, will hold a meeting ("BZA Hearing Officer Meeting")
on the 23rd day of July, 2007, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. in the Council's Caucus Chambers, on the
Second Floor of the Carmel City Hall building, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032,
regarding a request for certain development standards variances pertaining to the real estate
identified in Docket Nos. 07060011V and 07060023V (collectively referred to as the
"Application") and the real estate (the "Real Estate") that is the subject of the Application is
legally described on what is attached hereto and incorporated l1erein by reference as Exhibit "A".
Pursuant to the City of Carmel's Zoning Ordinance, the Real Estate is zoned OM/V fOld
Meridian Zone and the site is located north of Carmel Drive, east of and adjacent to Old
Meridian Street and south of and adjacent to the existing Providence at Old Meridian Shoppes.
The current zoning of the Real Estate permits the use that the Applicant is seeking.
Docket No. 07060011V requests a variance from Resolution CC-12-06-99-01 to allow
the Applicant to construct an ingress/egress entrance to the site in a location that is slightly
different than what was required by Resolution CC-12-06-99-01. Docket No. 07060023V
requests a variance from Section 20.G.05 03 (4) (c) so that the Applicant can construct a building
that will have approximately two hundred (200) feet of frontage.
Copies of the Application are on file for examination at the Department of Community
Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone 317/571-2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above-referenced
Application, either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-
mentioned time and place.
Written objections to the Application that are filed with the Department of Community
Services either prior to or at the BZA Hearing Officer Meeting will be considered and oral
comments concerning the Application will be heard at the BZA Hearing Officer Meeting.
The BZA Hearing Officer Meeting may be continued from time to time as may be found
necessary .
