Petitioner: FINDINGS OF FACT - DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS VARIANCE (Ballot Sheet) 1. The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community because it is merely the replacement of existing signage with new signs in the same location of substantially similar size, construction and illumination. 2. For the same reasons. the use and value of the area adiacent to the property included in the variance will not be affected in a substantially adverse manner. Additionally. the proposed signs are attractive and unobtrusive in terms of construction and illumination. 3. The strict application of the terms of the Zoning Ordinance to the property will result in practical difficulties in the use of the property. Because of the intricate logo and letter style used in the proposed signs, it would be practically difficult, if not impossible, to construct the same signs using a smaller area and still have the signs visible from Meridian Street.
