Dear Mr. Furlong,
At the meeting held Tuesday, May 28, 2002, the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals
took the following action regarding the Use Variance petition filed by Max Williams of Martin

DENIED: Docket No. UV-23-02, a Use Variance of Section 5.1: Permitted Uses in order to
establish a sand and gravel processing plant on 53.582::l: acres. The Board voted two (2) in favor,
three (3) opposed, thereby denying the petition.
If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me at 317/571-2417.
Sincerely, _ -()
