ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer I
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Unifornl Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Seetio;'
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewcrs shall be 6" diameter. !
All installations shall bc "aDen trench" insoccted and aooroved bv the Carmel Sewer Deoartmcnt before anv backfilling is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits and/or denial of water conncctions.
No footing or foundation drains or other sourccs of ground water or storm water shall be permittcd to entcr thc public sewer.
Sewer insoections should be reauested at (317) 571-2648 onc to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangcmcnts are madc at least 24 hours in advancc. All I
