The applicant seeks approval to plat a 6-10t residential subdivision. The site is located on
the north side of 116t Street, Y2 mile west of Gray Road. The site is zoned R-
l/Residence.
The petitioner also seeks approval of the following Subdivision Waivers:
70-02a SW SeD 8.9.1 sidewalks
Filed by Max Mouser of Weihe Engineers.
The applicant is proposing a 6-10t subdivision. The site is located on the north side of I 16th
Street, Y2 mile west of Gray Road. Please see the informational packet provided by the applicant
to view the layout ofthe site.
The applicant is proposing one subdivision waiver to eliminate the requirement to install
sidewalk on the east side of the interior roadway. They indicate that this will allow them to
preserve additional trees in the area. The Department is in support of the waiver request.
The Urban Forester has requested additional information with regard to tree preservation efforts
proposed for the site to meet the Buffer Yard requirements. The applicant should meet with
Scott Brewer to resolve this issue.
The Department recommends that this item be forwarded to the Subdivision Committee on
July 20 for further discussion.
Note: The request for the subdivision waiver was noticed after the Primary Plat request
and deadline. Therefore the Plan Commission will need to waive its rules of procedure to
hear the waiver portion of the request this evening.
