shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Codc Scction
9~ 122(a), and sections 1>3008.1 and .2 of the International Residential Codc. All building se\vers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "ooen trench" insoected and aoorovcd bv the Cannel Sevier Denartment before any backtilline is done. Non~
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or dcnial of future sewer permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground \vater or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Scwer inspections should be reauested at (317) 571~2648 onc to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing sewer (or water) lines shall have a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE. Ifany street
