The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of latest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting
ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations sh~ll be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Cannel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and.2 oflhe International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter. I
All installations shall be "ooen trench" insneeted and aooroved bv the Carmel Sewer Deoartment before anv backfilling: is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground \vatcr or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer insoections should be reauested at (317) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.
