ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer.
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 [or pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shal,l be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Sectjon
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and .2 of the 1nlcrnalional Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "aDen trench" inslJcctcd and aooroved bv the Carmel Sewer Deoartrnent before anv backfilline is donc. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits and/or denial ofwaler connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground watcr or storm \vater shall bc permitted to enter the public sewer.
