The buildin & Sewer Shall be pvc sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of latest revision: or Nitrified clay pipe. meeting
.45IT1 specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in uniting. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTNI 2321 for pvc pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and 2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "open trench" inspected and aooroved by the Carmel Sewer Department before atnv backtilling is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation andior denial of future sewer permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enter the public sewer.
Sewer inspections should be reauestcd at (317) 571-2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hour; in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing sewer (or water) lines shall have a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE. If any street
