Dear Mr. Forgery:
The Engineering Department has received YOUT comment letter and drawings datcd October 30, 2006 based
upon the storm water quality review comments of October 11, 2006.
These cormnents have been satisfactorily addressed with the following exceptions:
BONDINGREOUIREMENTS
I. The following bonding tequilements apply to this project:
Performance Guarantees
An Erosion and Sedinient Control Pcdormance Guarantee is needed for this project.
STORMWATER QUALITY REVIEW COMMENTS-CONSTRUCTION PLANS
The following items of the storm water pollution prevention plan ha vc not been satisfied:
B2. Sequence describing storm water quality measure implementa.tion relative to land disturbing
activities
Add #8 from the sequence on C4.2 to the sequence on C4.3.
C4. Location dimensions, specifications, and construction details of each stormwater quality
measure
Specifications for the swales are needed.
Taller native vegetation is recommended for the banks oithe ponds to deter geese. Refer to Chapter
700 for other vegetation requirements for water quality ponds.
C5. Description of maintenance guidelines for post construction storm water quality measures
Include maintenance and cleanout requirements for the storm structures with the snout attachment.
The BMF owner agreement, which was included in the last comment letter, should be completed and
submitted with the O&M manual.
The hooded orifice on the pond riscr may need to be mentioned in the pond operation and
maintenance requirements.
We request that all responses to our comments be provided in writing. Failure to provide written responses
may result in delay of the review process.
It is critical that this office be made aware of all modification made on the plans being re-submitted,
particularly if any such changes are considered "new" or fall outside of our previous reviews. Please
provide revised plans indicating all revisions. Please notify us of any changes and specifically state any
changes, including changes resulting from Plan Commission, Special Studies or other committee meetings.

All bonds and performance guarantees (if required) must be posted prior to Engineering Department
approval. Also, Board of Public Works and Safety approval and any other governing agency approvals (if
required) must be obtained prior to Engineering Department approval.
The Department of Engineering reserves the right to provide additional comments based on subsequent
reVIews.

LETTER OF APPROVAL
The undersigned has reviewed the proposed plans for
122nd SL & Pennsylvania Development
and has approved the plans subject to the following:
1. Our office is requesting a meeting to discuss the location of the fire department connection. We
are also requesting an exterior entrance to the fire sprinkler riser room for each proposed
building.
2. We are requesting that a Knox box for fire department emergency access and Knox fire
department connection caps be provided for each building. Knox products and accessories can
be purchased on line at www.knoxbox.com.
3. What is the height of the buildings and will the buildings have a basement?
4. Will the buildings have a fire alarm system?
