Docket No. 07080005 ADLS Amend: AT&T - Signage The applicant seeks approval for I new wall sign. The site is located at 900 E 96th St. II is zoned PUD in Parkwood Crossing. Filed by Nancy Long of A-I Expeditors. The applicant seeks committee approval to replace an existing wall sign (Cingular) with a 15.05 sq. ft. wall sign. The sign will be located on Building 9 within the Parkwood Crossing East office development, and it will face east towards 1-465. The sign will be ] 5.05 sq. ft. in area, even though the permitted square footage is 90 sq. ft. per the Parkwood Crossing PUD. The logo is 6.25 square feet and makes up 41 % of the sign area; the sign ordinance permits 25% or less of a sign to be comprised of logo within a unified center development. The sign will be composed of a day/night plex, allowing it to be seen as black & white opaque during the day and shine white at night, which is a requirement of Duke Realty_ Note: This item only requires final approval by this committee. (Also, variance approval from the Board of Zoning Appeals will be required for the logo size.) The Department of Community Services recommends the Special Studies Committee approve the request after all comments and concerns have been addressed.
